The reengineered Zenos E10 sports car returns with two models offering up to 380bhp, starting at £115,900, and scheduled for delivery in 2027.

Zenos is making a comeback with its production-ready E10 sports car, showcasing a full reengineering of the original model. With up to 380bhp on tap, the E10 is set to attract performance enthusiasts, starting at a price of £115,900. Deliveries are expected to commence in the second quarter of 2027, with options for both road-registered and track-only configurations.

The initial iteration of the E10 debuted in 2014 but faced challenges, leading to production halting after Zenos went into administration in 2017. AC Cars acquired the company's assets, and plans to revive the Zenos brand began to solidify over the past few years. A prototype of the new E10 rZ surfaced in September 2025, paving the way for the production version now unveiled.
Engine and Performance Specifications
Central to the E10 rZ's appeal is its turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine, producing an impressive 380bhp at around 6000rpm, accompanied by 376lb ft of torque between 3000rpm and 4500rpm. This performance translates to a kerb weight of merely 790kg, yielding a staggering power-to-weight ratio of approximately 480bhp per tonne. Zenos claims a sprint from 0-62mph in just 3.2 seconds and a maximum speed of 150mph.

For those seeking a slightly less potent option, the E10 r2 features a turbocharged 2.3-litre four-cylinder engine outputting 300bhp at around 6000rpm and 313lb ft of torque at 3500rpm. Its power-to-weight ratio is quoted at 380bhp per tonne, with acceleration to 62mph taking about 3.8 seconds, while still reaching that same capped speed of 150mph. Both vehicles utilize revised induction and charge cooler systems, with a six-speed manual transmission paired with a limited-slip differential driving the rear wheels.
Chassis and Structural Enhancements
One of the signature characteristics of the new E10 is its combined use of a lightweight extruded aluminium central spine paired with a carbon-fibre tub and bodywork. This design enhances rigidity while maintaining low weight, with the engine and gearbox strategically positioned within the wheelbase to improve mass centralization. The car's front and rear tracks have been widened, and the centre of gravity has been lowered slightly, contributing to a more stable and agile driving experience.

The suspension system boasts fully independent front suspension with pushrods and inboard-mounted dampers, coupled with conventional coil-over dampers at the rear. This setup is anchored by an aluminium subframe that supports the engine and transmission, while the braking system has seen significant updates, featuring larger 315mm front discs, four-piston calipers, and redesigned components for improved stopping power. The rear employs two-piston calipers for a balanced response.
Exterior and Interior Design Features
Visually, the new E10 presents an athletic stance complemented by new integrated headlights that include daytime running lights and updated indicators, further enhancing its modern look. Enhanced ducting for the front improves airflow and brake cooling, while modified radiator arrangements separate engine and turbocharger cooling systems. Streamlined side skirts with winglets aid aerodynamic performance, and customers can choose from a variety of finishes for the carbon-fibre body panels including paint, exposed weave, or custom options. Standard color choices include Race White, Nitro Blue, and Fireburst Yellow among others.

Inside the cabin, drivers will find a newly designed dashboard and a digital display tailored for performance driving. Weatherproof switchgear and an AIMS power-management system, derived from motorsport technology, add functional sophistication. The E10 features newly developed carbon-fibre seats, and buyers can opt for either a full windscreen with wipers or a smaller racing-style wind deflector, accommodating varied driving preferences.
Production and Availability
Customers in the UK can specify their E10 models for use on the road or the track, with configurations available for both right- and left-hand drive. For overseas buyers, a track-only specification will be on offer. Pricing for the E10 r2 starts at £115,900, while the more powerful E10 rZ is available from £129,900, both currently open for orders. Production allocations are limited, reinforcing the exclusivity of the Zenos brand and its offerings.
