The Broad Arrow Zoute auction achieved a record €34.6 million in sales, highlighted by a LaFerrari selling for over €5 million, showcasing high demand for collector cars.

Broad Arrow's second Zoute Concours Auction has made history by becoming the highest-grossing collector car sale in Belgium, achieving an impressive €34.6 million with a sell-through rate of 91%. This event took place on October 9 at Approach Golf in Knokke-Heist and featured a range of high-profile vehicles, including the standout 2015 Ferrari LaFerrari, which sold for a record €5,181,250, marking the highest price ever fetched by a car at auction in the country. Notably, the auction also showcased the 'Holy Trinity' of hybrid hypercars, featuring both the Porsche 918 Spyder and the McLaren P1.
Performance of the 'Holy Trinity' Hypercars

The 'Holy Trinity' consisted of the LaFerrari, Porsche 918 Spyder, and McLaren P1—all of which drew considerable interest, providing collectors a rare opportunity to bid on these iconic vehicles in one evening. This trio has defined the hybrid hypercar class since their debut in the 2010s.
The auction kicked off with the 2015 McLaren P1, displayed in a stunning MSO Storm Grey and only driven for 293 km, which sold for €1,890,625. Hot on its heels was the 2015 Porsche 918 Spyder Weissach Package, which fetched €3,212,500. Its unique features included bespoke Sport Classic Grey paint, Espresso leather, and Dress Mackenzie tartan seat inserts.
Broad Arrow strategically positioned the LaFerrari as the final climax of the auction. Dressed in the distinct Grigio Ferro Metallizzato, this example had undergone a recent battery replacement before its impressive auction run. Bidding commenced at €2 million and surged to a final price of €5,181,250, contributing significantly to a combined total of over €10.28 million for the trio of hypercars.
Unique Finds and Their Records

Among other compelling lots was a 2000 BMW M5 E39 prototype, which featured a Volkswagen W10 engine developed under the supervision of Ferdinand Piëch. This unique vehicle sold for €411,250, establishing a new auction benchmark for any E39 as well as for non-charity M5 models. Only three W10 prototypes were ever built, making this particular BMW particularly significant.

The auction also featured a variety of interesting cars, including the Kimera EVO37, selling for €1,131,250, and a rare 1990 Monte Carlo Automobile Centenaire, which garnered €821,875.
